oh no. mine was over much quicker. i bet i haven’t lost even a pound, i lay around like a lump and have been stuffing tiny handfuls of food into my face like a glutton as often as i can manage.
I figured it’d be mostly over by now too. I started throwing up Friday at about 11pm so I thought I’d be in the clear by now. I hate calling out, especially at this time of the year, but I don’t want anyone I work with to get this or infect any of the customers. I just hate letting people down.
no no calling out is a NOBLE THING TO DO because norovirus’s hidden horror is that you shed viable viruses for DAYS after symptoms cease, so you are HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS once you start feeling better and get up and around. It’s the only way the virus could spread, since it’s so goddamn terrible while you have it!
