mouths of babes, breathing edition

I don’t know when kids grow out of this but when they’re little and they get excited about something and they do the Excited Panting Gasp as they run to do whatever it is? “Hee-hoo hee-hoo hee-hoo hee-hoo hee-hoo hee-hoo heee-hoo!” all the way down the hallway?
also when they’re really excited to tell you a thing and they have to stop and breathe in the middle of the fifteenth repetition of a filler word as their tiny overworked linguistic cortex fires over and over again trying to catch up?
Also as an aside, another fun thing is when a kid who is being raised well and supportively is confronted with an adverse situation of some kind and immediately begins reciting the helpful things that adults in their lives have clearly told them in similar situations. Boy is currently telling his sister, who is crying in frustration at a thing not turning out like she liked, “It’s okay! I’m making the most of my mistakes!”
Ha three minutes later, as she’s been consoled, he now is sobbing because he made a mistake he didn’t like. Oh, being seven…
