Ah we had an agapostemon burrow at the farm near a tree where the kids play– their lil green heads would poke out– I made a tiny, tiny Please Don’t Step On The Bees sign so that nobody’d run them over or stand on them, and put a big red flag on it, and we did all kinds of research to figure out whose beautiful lil green heads we kept seeing poking out. They’re such good pollinators! They were there two or three years, I don’t know if they moved.
