I’m also stuck on a sex scene (ugh, choreography, man) so that may be why my brain immediately decided it would love to read Jaskier ask Geralt about when he lost his virginity? Or his first kiss?
Ooh that’s such a good idea! Except that my headcanon is that both were probably Eskel and it’s a plot point later that Jaskier had not expected Geralt would Do Guys, so if I do it, Geralt’s got to be evasive. Of course, Jaskier could carelessly ask about Geralt’s first woman, or somesuch, which would both show off his assumption and also let Geralt avoid the subtext, there. Hmmmm….

Oh that could be fun. Geralt has earlier in this actual chapter revealed that he doesn’t know it, though Jaskier wasn’t present for that conversation.

Part of me wants the question to be SUPER IMPORTANT, but also, part of me wants the question to be something almost silly and lighthearted, until you think about it. Like, what’s your favorite sweet treat, or your favorite color, and then Geralt can have FEELINGS and OVERTHINKING.
Yeah– I think I had planned on it being something SUPER IMPORTANT but all the important things I can think of seem… too… much? You might be onto something– Geralt’s all braced to tell him no and he’s like “what’s your favorite color?” They’ve already had a conversation about his favorite food, in the past, and the ice cream is tentatively a plot point for the end of this chapter if I ever get there, but something like color– I don’t know that Geralt would get the question, at first! That could be super illuminating.

First off, there are only so many characters in this series so I can’t believe I’m struggling with that snippet but I am??? I feel like I have to say Triss &…Eskel? Except the ‘fondly’ is throwing me off! (Also I think my desire for that to be a ship might be influencing me). Obviously, I’ve no idea what Jaskier was going to ask about Geralt’s life, but I feel like maybe a question about why Jaskier is in it/why Geralt puts up with him (from Jaskier’s perspective)(½)

These are all fantastic ideas. Triss and Eskel, however, are only at the part where Triss has just this moment wandered in on Eskel baking bread in the kitchen in only a shirt and is like uhh I assumed those shoulders were all the padding in his gambeson but They Are Not and now I don’t know what this feeling is in my pants, I did not come here for this how dare u.
The snippet is, in fact, Jaskier and Yennefer again, as they are the only people who seem to get laid in this series. This is 100% logistics, though, so far. Soon I will figure out more. And Triss will figure out why, though Eskel is nominally Not Her Type, she is still having those pantsfeelings.
Oh man I have so many ideas now. HMMMMMMMMM I love you all.
