word to the wise about tumblr crossposts

I just went to add an image to a post and in the image uploader on DW it was like "you're over your quota!" and I was like what i never use this thing, so I went and looked at the image uploader and
oh
I'm at 214% of my quota, in fact.
How???
Well every single time IfTTT crossposts for me, it uploads an "this image not found" image that it generates itself, if there's no image in the post, and if there is an image in the post, it uploads that one instead.

So I have 255 pages of identical "image not found" images to delete manually, so. I've been at it a couple of hours already.

Just-- notice that, and maybe delete them as you go, before you wind up with the bullshit I'm currently dealing with. (Yes, there's a bulk image editor, and it loads ten images on a page and you have to check each one individually, hit 'delete', then load a new page, so it is Not Fast.)

I just went to check and I don't have any. If you edit your crossposter applet, there's a box at the bottom that says something like "add attachment"? If you delete whatever is in there by default and save it with that box blank it then doesn't even try to crosspost an image, so you don't get the image not found image :) (Which doesn't help you now, but may in the future.)

I don't remember how I made this thing work and it's a bummer. As it is I just manually delete things I didn't want to crosspost.
I gotta do it, I gotta fix it, I know I do, but I'm procrastinating until I have a lot of mental fortitude, which, I mean, that's kind of never, but I'll get to it one of these days. Surely!

Oh yes, I know about having to wait until the planets align. It'll get there :)
