I figured having work today while everyone else had off would be a great opportunity to catch up on all the sales-related, as opposed to customer-service-putting-out-fires-as-they-happen, crap at work that's been piling up.

I had a woman mutter at me for half an hour as she tried to remember what she bought and when she bought it.
I am finding crazies of all kinds requiring urgent customer service and coming out of the bloody woodwork.
I even got cussed out within the first thirty seconds of sitting down at the switchboard, because someone had gotten disconnected from Hold.

Also I have to look hot for the calendar photo shoot tonight and I am BLEEDING LIKE A STUCK PIG and feeling distinctly unsexy.

... also i just got blood on my skirt.
That completes my look admirably, along with the fact that I didn't realize my bra shows through my shirt, there's a weird pattern on it that shows through and looks weird, and people have been squinting at me all day and now I know why, I've looked like an idiot wearing a stupid patterned bra under a white shirt all day.
A stupid patterned bra that shows through, and now I've bled through to my skirt, and I must look like some kind of fucking fashion plate.

I will be the weird chick on the roller derby calendar who is dressed unconvincingly-yet-not-sexily as a man and has a puffy orange face because she's been crying and eating Chee-Tos.
