Chita is in A Mood.
Remi is also in a bit of a mood. But Chita is worse, because she cannot go outside: it is bitter cold and snowy, and we open the door and she stands there cringing in dismay. She blames me.
And Remi.
Crash-thump-thump-thump-scramble skitter.
I have a big goose egg bruise on my right shin. I remember sustaining it, but don't remember the logistics exactly. I can tell, however, by the look of the thing that it came from contact with a still-rolling wheel.
Two girls have broken ankles during the practice of one of the other teams this month. The team blames the slippery floor, but in our practices, the slippery floor just makes us slide out on warmups. Nobody breaks ankles. I'm paranoid anyway, though.
Though I jammed in practice and didn't find it as terrifying as it always is in my head. Perhaps we just weren't being that aggressive. I just was frustrated because I can't see the gaps to head for, or if I can, I can't move my feet fast enough to get through it. But I think it was a good learning experience for the girls playing blockers. So maybe I'll do it some more, but not in bouts. I can clear the pack about once, usually... Oy.
Anyway.
I am In A Mood, intermittently, because It Is That Time. I am bleeding and gross and don't like myself. I'm dealing sort of OK, but could be doing better. Oh well.
Not much else to update really. Just feel like I should.

Date: 2009-01-14 09:09 pm (UTC)You can use kanji without any kana, you're just really limited in what you can say. Like, uh, you can't really conjugate any verbs.
Though the things i find really foolish are like the ones who don't get someone fluent to double-check their work or at least make sure it's right-side up before they get it tattooed on their forehead or whatever... ;)
