I got a follow from a person whose handle is a woman’s name, and I clicked on their profile to find out more, and about died laughing, guys you can’t make spam accounts on DW the way you do on Tumblr it doesn’t work
[image transcription: “Mini Bio: I am Julie from KS. I am working as a Field technician in Total Sources I Spent a weekend lecturing about “[[untranslated foreign script I can’t read that’s a link I sure ain’t clicking]]” mantra. I was quite successful at donating gravy in Deltona, FL. Spent several years getting to know saliva in my life. I Spent the better part of the 90′s buying and selling bagpipes.”]
Girl me too, I got to know saliva in my life and bagpipe sales were a hard gig back then without much of an Internet, if you know what I mean.
Here, I’d believe that was a shitposter maybe, but on DW, listen they tried shitposting over there and basically nobody on my subscription list actually fully understood what shitposting even was but bless if they didn’t give it a shot and like set up an exchange event about it, it’s incredibly sweet but that’s sort of the cultural difference there. You’re not going to get that feral energy without the terrifying chaos of reblogs. No, we live or die by original content over there, and we definitely don’t successfully donate gravy in Deltona, or at least we don’t brag about it if we do. (Oh hey that’s a real city, pop 85,000, good to know.)
