Wait but if it’s Ursula’s cat and it injures Ursula’s vassal how does that work? Is this like how if your Welsh slave kills someone you owe extra weregild?

It would really depend on Sergei’s status viz everyone else, and who Sergei recognizes as an overlord.

Oh just in general though if you are on Twitter ever, you should follow these two– they have hilarious back and forths but also do antiracist protests and jail support actions and the like, and neolithicsheep just moved into a shed on tkingfisher‘s (that’s Ursula) back lot with all her livestock and it is absolutely riveting and you never know what is going to happen. Also I believe there’s merch about antifascist oxen somewhere in there. Not to be missed. It’s basically the only reason I can stand to check Twitter anymore. 

Thank you for the kind words! The antifascist oxen thing (which you can indeed get as merch here: https://www.teepublic.com/t-shirt/6539876-antifascist-oxen?store_id=61092) happened because as it turns out the Board of County Commissioners in Chatham County *doesn’t understand shitposting*.

See, there was a Confederate statue in front of the historic Chatham County Courthouse (it’s gone now! Yay!) and Twitter being Twitter a bunch of us were talking about how to get rid of it. I tweeted “If someone has a long enough chain I can bring in oxen, people will be so confused by the oxen it will give me time to get it down.”

And then, NO SHIT, the Chair of the Chatham County Board of County Commissioners USED THE TWEET IN AN AFFIDAVIT to prove to the court in a lawsuit by the United Daughters of the Confederacy that the statue was legitimately under threat if it remained in place.

Because I might somehow manage to get a team of oxen into downtown Pittsboro and take down the statue without anyone noticing and doing something about it, like arresting me and impounding my oxen.

I am very proud because it’s my first appearance in a court filing, and also very disappointed that no one deposed me over that tweet because pulling the statue down with a team of oxen would have been impossible due to the angle of draft. I wanted to explain shitposting in court.

I saw Ursula’s tweet as the statue came down! I was so excited I screenshotted it and sent it to a bunch of non-Twitter friends! Congratulations!!! I keep meaning to subscribe to your Patreon but it is Turkey Week and the attention span is brief. This made me remember to actually look it up and do it, though.

I was sort of following along with the antifascist oxen thing but did not realize all of the details. What a hell of a thing. But I want to know how many times shitposting has had to be explained in various courts due to the uhhhh current events in general of late.
