Dec. 4th, 2019 11:10 amAn online customer ordered a thing from us. Big, expensive, heavy, expedited. We spent $20 sending it via UPS with signature confirmation.
UPS called. "Hey," they said, "that address is a post office."
I look at it. It's like, 700 Main St. or something. "Really?"
"Yeah," the guy says. "Us being UPS, we can't deliver to a post office. They won't take it. That's how this works. We can't deliver that package there. Do you have the guy's contact info? Ask him where else we can put that package."
So here's a tip for you, if you are a person who shops online:
If you want something delivered to a post office, please don't just sneak the post office's street address in there. If it's a PO box, we can catch that, and make sure we send it USPS. Even if you put Post Office in the business line, or something. Give us SOMETHING to work with.
What a fucking idiot. I just swore on the phone. What the fuck. Don't fucking stealth the Post Office into this!!!
