TBH star wars is MUCH funnier if you realize that the Millennium Falcon is like. The space version of this.
Except souped up and with a bunch of super-illegal weaponry bolted on
Soooo… Spaceballs was more accurate than not
As always, Spaceballs was, in fact, a masterpiece.
Indeed it was. Where else are you going to find cutting edge dialogue like
And of course
Every single moment of that movie is somehow the best moment of that movie.
“They’ve gone to PLAID” is, perhaps, the one line in cinema that can put me on the fucking floor crying with laughter EVERY time
I JUST FUCKING CRACKED UP JUST SEEING THE GIFSET MY BRAIN IS PLAYING THE DIALOG FROM THIS SCENE NOW
I saw this movie as a child before I’d ever seen Star Wars.
So like. When people get nostalgic over their childhood experience of the Magic of Star Wars… listen I spent the entire first time I watched ANH being like ohhhhh that’s what they were parodying ohhhh I get it now ok it was funnier in Spaceballs also the dialogue was better.
