i can post but not comment. Sigh.
Sep. 25th, 2003 02:16 pmSo, that's a pain in the butt.
In other news, I'm now totally, totally addicted to VoodooPad. From http://www.flyingmeat.com, this is the coolest little program ever.
(Sorry, Mac OS X only.)
It makes a little WikiWikiWeb on your desktop. It's a notepad. You write in the notepad, and if you pick a word and highlight it and link it, it makes a new page with that word as the title, and you write about that word in it, and so on and so forth and ALL YOUR NOTES TO YOURSELF are ORGANIZED and HYPERLINKED and all in one place!!!!
Holy crap.
I've had it for a little while, and used it a little bit, but hadn't really discovered its sheer brilliance until during lunch today I trascribed all the random notes I've been handwriting myself and throwing in my bag and never looking at again.
Holy crap! I've had a lot of good ideas I'd forgotten about. Now they're effortlessly organized by subject!!
What a freaking great idea. I got the freeware version but you can bet your tuckus I'll be buying a license for the shareware version soon. Oh yes, it rules.
