My income could more than halve and if all else was equal, I'd have the same standard of living that I do.
I wouldn't though, because the car payments would still be the same, student loan payments would be the same, and so my debt would be more expensive.
The numbers on that website are fascinating, though.
I have an idealized view of living in a rundown Victorian mansion and going on weekend trips to Toronto and wearing long underwear and proudly using my Wegman's Shopper's Club Card, and making an ice skating rink in the backyard, and shoveling snow in my Bean boots. I also think it would be fun to be a bartender.
I dunno, I just think I'd be happier there.
well... Dave went through Monster.com and there's nothing for him. So... this may or may not happen. :/
