my blackout story
Aug. 15th, 2003 05:18 pmi only have one little anecdote to share.
dave and i lit candles as it grew dark, but we grew restless (having already done what it would naturally occur to a couple to do in candlelight and quiet) and wandered out to see what was doing. I put on a white t-shirt and a light-colored pair of cargo pants, the ones I'd flown from CA in.
I forgot my wallet, but my ID was in the pants' pocket from the security checks.
We passed the bar down the street and it was open. i put my hand in my pocket and there was my ID. Obviously, it was a sign.
I have a picture from last night, actually a scan of an artifact, that I'll post when I get home.
I also have much more commentary but don't have time to discuss it just this minute.
:D
