Oh, in the hard drive crash I lost your latest email address, so I have no way of getting in touch with you. Which is pretty much par for the course. Mine's still the same... A comment would be emailed to you, but I can't post one, which is too damn bad, because you probably won't see this. Wonderful! And by the time I get to a computer where I can post comments (it only seems to have a problem at work) you'll have buggered off again and I won't hear from you for another six months.
So...
Hurrah.

I'm doing well. Got my degree (a 2:1, which is considerably more than I deserved given that I did no work in the first two years of the degree). My parents now live in Portland, Oregon and Sheila and I have their cats, which is lovely. We're still living in the nice flat and my sister is staying with us until my parents buy their London house, which will be hers for the first year and a bit and then ours for a similar length of time. All in all, things couldn't be going better. I am working as a maternity locum doing publications work for a charity. It's only half-time but it pays well and means that I don't have to get a proper job until September. There is enough in the voluntary sector (doing this kind of work) that I'm not too worried about it yet. No doubt I'll be shitting myself this time next month, but at the moment I'm just relaxing.

Off to the Cambridge Folk Festival at the end of the month - Big Steve Earle is headlining, which should be great (the last gig of his I went to kicked more arse than I could have believed). Went up to St Andrews to visit Gail and Kate and popped in on the History Marks and a couple of other teachers.

So I'm in a moochy phase. No doubt there will be real news at some point in the near future.
