Two were from myself.
That's pretty sad...
I'm glad I don't get spam, though. That's even more depressing. You get all excited because you have an email, and it just reminds you over and over again that nobody actually loves you.
So I guess I'll count my small blessings, in that I'm left to poke at my email thing and wonder if it's working because i'm that much of a loser.
Hee. That's kind of funny, what a big loser I am.
Well, i have big plans for tonight. I'm going to get rid of all the clutter, the mess, the dirt in my apartment. It's going to be perfect by the time Dave gets back.
And oh, I have to pack for this weekend. Yeesh.
In other news, I pretty much finished the website today. It needs to be checked over by another person. I also gave my coworker T a list of things I needed her to edit (she's the senior writer, and still needs to OK the things I write anyway. I also need accuracy checks, as our marketing department did a lot of outright lying in our past materials) on Monday that she hasn't looked at yet. I know for a fact she hasn't looked at it. I saw the message in her inbox, clearly marked, unread. It turns out SHE's the one who told our boss we'd do the website by Friday. She thought I was dragging my feet, I guess. Something. So I said fine, if you're helping, I'll do what I can and maybe we can get it done.
She worked on other projects and played Solitaire.
So, fuck it. I'm done. I'm giving out the URL to a bunch of people, telling them to tell me what's broken, I'll make a list, i'll fix it. Oh by the way, the following eighteen pages are awaiting editing by T and so the text is in no way to be considered final. Talk to her about changes you want made.
Sigh.
Right. I'm going to find that list of things I needed to fix and fix them. Tomorrow will pretty much all be bugfixes, too. Things I just plain forgot, etc.
And I'm leaving early tomorrow. I cannot, cannot forget. Must set cellphone alarm. Yes.
The boss keeps popping in and then disappearing. very jarring as i never know when he'll be back. he doesn't really have much by way of manners.
I'd better go now. Woop!
