it had been sitting there cooling for five minutes, too. Bleah.

I got in at 7:15 this morning. I got in at 7:30 yesterday morning and stayed until 5. I got in at 8:15 the morning before and stayed until 5:15. I also didn't take a lunch break yesterday.
Normal hours are 8:30-5, or 9-5:30, with a half-hour break for lunch.
They didn't dock me, I realized, for the half day I took on Tuesday. So I figured I'd better make that up. Also, I'm thinking of leaving early on Friday. So I might as well work extra while I can and hope it counts for something. So, up to now, that's 3 3/4 extra hours for them. I actually took 4 hours off Tuesday. I might mention it to Bob, or Vicki. If they act surprised and pleased that I've made Tuesday up, I'll ask for a couple hours Friday. If I can't get any time Friday, I won't make the plane that night. I'll have to figure other options out.
Oh, strike that. The latest flight now is 3:00 pm; the later one must've sold out. I guess I'll go Sat. am instead.
Nope. The earliest flight on Saturday is 3:00 pm.
Amtrak's looking better and better.
Amtrak's a bit weird, though. I'd save $30 if I just bought a thru ticket. I'll have to call them and ask if I could buy the two tickets together but not for immediately consecutive trains. I could go up on Friday night to Albany, and stay with my mom, and then get to Buffalo the next day.
Hm. Seems I can, but it's $10 more. Ah well, worth it I suppose.
I probably will do that, then. I gotta have an escape plan, see? I can't just sit here and wonder.
