bloody weather

dragonlady7It wasn't supposed to rain today! It's raining, but it wasn't supposed to! It was supposed to be mostly sunny with highs in the upper eighties! So I left my jeans out on the fire escape to dry, and put the frogs in their aquarium just outside the window on the fire escape so they could enjoy some fresh air for once. I even gave them extra water in case the wind dried their tank out.
Oh well.
There are enough branches they can hide under so they won't get pelted with rain too much. They do need a bigger tank with more stuff in it, but the ten-gal is as big as I can comfortably move around and do things like put outside.
I also left all my windows open, because it wasn't supposed to rain.
Sigh.
My first lesson of the year in not believing weather forecasts when they predict no rain; if you have left something out to dry, it WILL rain. Duh. Murphy's Law is the most consistent law in the universe. I don't need rain dances; I just need wet laundry.
