yay friday
Apr. 11th, 2003 08:17 ami have a staff meeting in like two minutes. yay! they feed us, we get to sit around and talk, it's just nice.
it's a week early because nobody will be here next friday-- including ME! I'll be wasted, in Buffalo. (We have to go drinkin' with Sean, who's leaving to join the Army finally after talking about if for years.)
I have a routine now. I come in, I login to my computer, I open Outlook, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Mozilla, I go get a cup of tea, I water my plants, and then I actually get down to work.
But it is just so nice to have all those programs to open... all y'all who have everything you need to get your job done, take a minute to appreciate that...
Ah well. I have one observation from yesterday to mention here:
I got in fine yesterday after walking in, and noticed two things: 1) I wasn't as tired as usual, as if the walk had been less strenuous, and 2) my usually-tight gray H&M pants didn't fit me quite so snugly. Wow, I thought: this getting in shape thing is working!
Then I realized two things:
I didn't bring the laptop so my backpack was ten poiunds lighter on the walk, and I'd worn those pants once since washing them already so they were already stretched out.
Dave, being a good boy, assured me that no, I was totally skinny and buff.
He's a very good boy.
