dragonlady7finally, the snow has started. the sky was so heavy and ponderous and forbidding the whole time i was hiking in this morning, and i hurried because the snow seemed so imminent that i feared being deluged before i could descend that last very treacherous, slippery hill down to the parking lot behind my building. (I have photographed it, but the steepness wasn't apparent. I'll have to try it again.)
I left nearly an hour early, as well. But it didn't even matter... still, it allowed me to get a few crucial tasks done before the general rush arrived here this morning.
Not that there was one; half of us called in so as not to get caught in the snow that has only just materialized. And at that, it's light and small flakes falling in smal concentration without any visible intent. Ah, it's getting heavier now, but they're still these tiny little flakes that just can't scare me yet.
Oh well. I'm not scared of the snow. I can't really walk home in it if it's too deep, and it might make things a real pain this week, but... it'll probably be fine.
I'm psyched to have Dreamweaver, really psyched. Dave coded me a sweet dropdown that expands horizontally into a table cell that by default is filled with a placeholder graphic. I have to do the graphics for that just now, but it won't take long. It looks awesome, it works in IE Mac (5), IE Win (6), Mozilla for Win and Mac, and Safari. Wow!
So I'm psyched.

Except I have like eight different other things to do so I can't think about that too much at the moment. Oof. I'm sleepy as hell too. Dave was up until 1 am last night chatting with his buddy chris, and he was sitting on my bed. i fell asleep curled around his waist and he woke me up when he left. (At least i got a good-night kiss. It was a fairly snuggly night last night. Aww. Very nice. Also, we found a radio station playing zydeco, which is the weirdest music. We dug on that.)
My feng-shui is leet, yo. My cubicle is awesome now. I am the basest of cube rats, now, in that I actually kind of like it. i sort of wish my walls weren't made of pale teal carpeting, but feel insulated and protected by their narrow encirclement. Oh yes. Sure.
Whatever. I actually made my space less claustrophobic, by getting rid of the books that aren't mine, and pushing my monitor out a ways so people wouldn't pin me into this tiny corner when they sneak up behind me.
Now I've done the weird little other jobs. Now, now it is time to wreak amazingness upon the unsuspecting website. Yes.
I am preparing for awesomeness. Prepare for awesomeness.
