Yo but did you know you can make wine out of potatoes? And if you are fermenting a mash to distill into alcohol, the #1 highest-yield vegetable is sunchokes. Which are a kind of sunflower with a tuber-like root. (Actually, they tie with sugar beets.)
TL;DR I am serious about using vegetables in weird ways, do not test me.
