no, i'm packing up my life. only the parts of it i can bring with me. the things i can't, i'm just leaving.
i'm reducing my life to what can fit into a moving van, and what can't.
whatever can't go into a van, i can't have anymore.
which means goodbye to my friends, to my high-speed internet, to my house, to my home, to my independence. bye-bye. i'm packing them up too, into a box that can't exist anymore.
i'm sad to be leaving this place; this is my home and i've been happy here.
it's hard to pack up physical things, and annoying. but i won't leave anything behind that i like.
i'm not all that worried about the physical objects. i don't give a shit if i get better stuff. i just don't particularly want to leave. and so it's depressing to be dismantling my home and putting it in boxes, especially since i have no new home to go to where i can enjoy the same freedoms and friendships i have here.
