dragonlady7so hungry suddenly...
had tahou's like 2 pm, now after 12 hours i think i can eat again.
been working on a prose-poem thing, rendered in text/images in photoshop, saved in individual layers as .jpg files, import to director make a shockwave thing of it-- except OOPS it needs to be in .pct format, so i had to open all the files and save it again, each one individually-- and i'd made two versions, so there were 27 and 28 files, respectively. i opened them in batches, which made me grateful for every hertz of processor and every byte of RAM, as I abused my poor poor baby with photoshop... i have to here say that i love this computer SOO much and i love my parents for buying it for me, and not one bit of it has been wasted!
so. where was i? right. am now on the verge of importing it to director.
however, i don't really like it.

they're not that interesting.
i really don't think anyone but me is going to be interested in this.

i mean, really... it's personal. why should anyone else care? even if it is slightly fictionalized?

but what else do i ever write about?
my fantasy stuff isn't up to snuff yet, and is arcane and obscure.
sometimes my life-thingies are vivid...
i don't think this one is, though.
but i've only spent... since ten... on it... so it's only been what, 4 hours so far, and probably another 4 in director/shockwave. So, 8 hours. I can do a bunch of those and surely one or two of them will be mildly interesting to other people. I have lots of 8-hour blocks. really.
except the next 2 i have lined up are longer. much longer.

so, they'll probably take like 16 hours each.
that's fine, i can do that.
but are they part of the thesis?
I don't fuckin' know! How should I know? I just make the stuff.

this is all because i don't know what else to do with the vietnam stuff.
i need to get that sorted and bring it in to the ed tech center for help tomorrow or tuesday.
tuesday maybe would be best.
