dragonlady7whee... spent sunday as it should be spent: first to the gym with darius for some track-running action to cure his athletic hangover (he won a tournament in cleveland yesterday and got his C rating!! yay darius!) (after a day of athletics, you're often sore. the only cure is more athletics. it's like, the hair of the dog.) then we went shopping. I attempted the rock wall at Galyan's but I lack the strength in my forearms to keep up with my legs. Not good. So I made it like halfway. Darius made it all the way to the top of the difficult wall, in a very short time.
This neoprene ankle brace i have now is really nice. I like it a lot. My ankle was quite pleased after half a mile and could certainly have done more but i was lazy and only walked a ways more.
Darius is continuing to be amused by my assertion that he is attractive to straight females, the same kind of straight females that think I'm pretty and resent me.
After a brief stopover in Target to look for shirts for Darius, we realized that his car key had fallen from his keychain, and after another quick tour round the store ending with me in the lost and found office, we were on our way to Tahou's. Yay!
we went to the e. main st. tahou's and the lady there gave us lollipops with our order, inexplicably. This pleased me. (I had cheeseburger mac salad homefries everything and finished it, though i took my time.)
So, a good sunday morning.
but i missed a phone call from max! Sad. I shall have to call him back at some point. He's in San Antonio, with a cold. Poor child.
My ankle needs to be freed from this brace now, and I think I might need a shower. And then, the afternoon will be spent productively, I promise!!!
