Max called me.
(because i called and sniffled into his voicemail last night. i'm awful that way.)
he's doing fine, enjoying himself, sending out many postcards, and he's at the Grand Canyon now.
he's pondering the possibility of a trip up to UR for D-Day.
that would be quite nice.

Date: 2002-03-20 06:59 am (UTC)Even the cheapest hostels in Scotland were clean, you just had to sleep in a bunk in a big room full of bunks, so you met all kinds of strangers. (I usually specified female-only rooms, unless I was traveling with a boy and wanted the group to stay together... I don't know that I was ever traveling with a boy though, so what am I thinking of? Who knows. But anyhow, I rather liked taking buses everywhere and feeling as if I were "roughing it" (the beds were just as comfy as a motel...)

he's sort of geeky. sometimes. i guess. And he knows marginally more JavaScript than me. So I guess he gets to keep his title.
