I hate you, NY State of Health. I log in, and you say, Congratulations, your eligibility is confirmed! Pick a plan!
But the “pick a plan” text is not a link, and in the sidebar, the Pick A Plan text is also not a link. I have to go through the sidebar in order. Which means confirming my details again. So I do. Nothing is different. I just have to keep hitting yes and ok and all that. I get to the end.
It wants me to confirm my income again. I already fucking did that. The next step is Pick A Plan, which IS WHAT I CAME HERE FOR, and i can’t do that, now my eligibility is pending.
The eligibility you said was confirmed.
It’s pending again.
WHY IS YOUR WEBSITE GARBAGE.
I cannot sign up for health insurance. I missed the last deadline, I’m going to miss this one again, because every fucking time I come to your website, it guides me through the same intro steps, and then my eligibility is pending, and when I get the notice that it’s confirmed, it guides me back through re-fucking-applying.
I am just going to wait until I am in an emergency room because they have people there who actually understand Medicaid, which I think I finally make little enough for. They’ll sign me up, or they won’t get paid and I’ll ruin my credit again (don’t ask me how many times I’ve been uninsured in an emergency room, my life has not been a gainfully-employed-with-benefits one), and that’s just how this apparently fucking works.
