i fuckin love tiny houses hook me up man!
bruh, I LOVE TINY HOUSES!! I’m so impressed that you’ve got a Yurt. Like one day I would love to see pics of it! It is my goal to own a tiny house on wheels in the future.
I thought I’d posted some pics! … Well, I guess lately they’ve all been shitty cellphone pics from in the dark.
It almost doesn’t count, though, because I don’t really *live* in it. I just sleep in it, it’s only a bedroom really. Here are two photos from July of it, one exterior and one interior with feline visitor. It’s… much less neat, now, and has double-sided foil-backed bubble wrap insulation tucked up in the rafters and on the outside of the lattice (inside the canvas) to keep it from being quite so outdoor-temperaturey.
note the screen door made of a gauze curtain, LOL. The wide-angle lens distorts it a bit; the door’s only about 30″ wide, and maybe 48″ tall.
That’s a queen-size air mattress on one of those really basic folding metal bedframes, with homemade wooden slats in place of a box spring, and stacked chunks of board bolted together to raise it up a little. The center height of that roof ring, which in this photo is adorned with a scarf but now is permanently closed with a flap of insulation, is well within my ability to reach as a 5′7″ person. I bump my head everywhere but the very middle. It’s real short. I want to make it be taller, next year.
