TROLLHUNTER OMG. what an incredible film. the part where they lure the troll (off a cliff I think??) by playing hymns from a van is priceless
oh no that’s like the climax of the movie, with the giant Jotun troll staggering around on the plain, and there goes the Land Rover blasting “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” intermittently through the entire final action sequence.
My other favorite thing was the new camerawoman getting off the train and the interview guy says “You don’t believe in God or Jesus right” and she’s like “uh I’m Muslim” and he’s like “that’s cool right?” and the troll hunter is like “We’ll find out!”
Also the BUCKET of Christian blood the trollhunter had? How do you get A BUCKET of blood?? The scene would have worked just fine with like, a cup of blood, and there he is like, dousing the whole scene with corn syrup.
(And from having visited the country, I enjoyed how the Polish painters had 0 Norwegian so everyone just spoke English for that scene, but the Muslim camerawoman was clearly Norwegian and spoke the language fluently.)
