ugh i sort of have internet today.
today’s highlights include that i honestly truly did make pumpkin spice punch out of some genuinely horrible Tang-flavored vodka, I’m a mixology genius
the internet keeps randomly cutting out but i’m not in a yurt and i’m not using up my mobile data, also there’s power here and it’s above freezing
currently my dude is downstairs with the other Dave (they’re both Dave. they’re the House of Daves. it’s a running joke for the last fifteen years), who is an anaesthesiologist, and other-Dave is giving him a thorough rundown on the effects of various recreational drugs on the human body. “Crystal meth is really… there’s no way to use it without destroying yourself, from your brain chemistry onward. Cocaine is really just gonna destroy your pocketbook. I mean, your heart too, but mostly your pocketbook.”
I watched Despicable Me today, which was more enjoyable than I’d expected, and also watched a Norwegian Blair Witch plus plot plus CGI ripoff called Trollhunter, and I amused myself by looking up the referred-to locales on Google Maps on my phone through the whole thing. (If you were wondering, Jotunheimen is a real place in Norway.)
I want a dress like Scarlet Overkill has– not just the swishy bit with the crinoline but also the bit where it has armor and becomes a rocket.
