I cannot resist sharing this shot of my nephew, who despite his angst at having his “smart” (right) arm immobilized, is still managing to put together a Lego set the hospital gave him.
His mother has consoled him with the observation that I manage a degree of ambidexterity. I told him the secret was to be so perpetually confused as to do it by accident. (This is what I do pretty much daily. Why is writing so hard oh right because I’m not right-handed. Why don’t these scissors work right oh right because that’s your left hand. Why am I having so much trouble with this chicken oh right, you dolt, you learned to eviscerate with your right hand because you copied your instructor.)
