THIS IS SO GOOD, Y’ALL. It’s really adorable, because c’mon, scrappy preteen Han and Lando?? But it’s also sad and tense and lovely as all get out and it’s a whole WORLD, an entire emotional trajectory, and I love it so much.
I didn’t know a version of Han Solo existed who wasn’t prickly and defensive and loudly cynical but here he is, and he and Lando love each other so much and they’re so *hopeful* despite awful circumstances and I can’t bear it. By which I mean I recommend this fic in the strongest possible terms.
