Wait, what?
What?
That’s one heck of an Amazon error.
(I can get them at Staples for like $10/pair, and they’re perfect for writing)
Most sellers on Amazon use automated software and sometimes it can have… unexpected outcomes. sometimes they do that [implausibly high prices] on purpose, because they don’t want the item to sell but also don’t want to de-list it, for some obscure reason.Amazon is extremely secretive about how you get “the Buy Box” (meaning if someone clicks on the item and just goes “add to cart” without selecting a seller, it’s you– there could be dozens of sellers with the same item, and lowest price isn’t a guarantee you’ll get that buy box.)Most customers on Amazon don’t have any real idea how many sellers there really are, but. I mean. I am one, so I know this. I don’t think I did know any of it before I was a seller.
