I was in a doctors waiting room and bored out of my mind and I saw the email and started reading. And then read while I was waiting and thought about it when I got my flu shot so in conclusion thank you for this incredibly well timed posting and I fucking loved this chapter

I am just in agonies of no attention span today and badly need a really good absorbing gripping fic update to distract myself with, and i had been kind of saving an update I’d seen a notification for the other day, and I just got around to opening it and noticed it was for a chapter with 0 words and – oh. It’s a fic with art? And the art person had drawn some pictures, and they were in a Tumblr post, and the words person had put them into a chapter. But. By themselves.

So there wasn’t anything to read, and I was completely unable to handle that today. I have been trying to find another fic to read instead but it’s not worked out well; I’d ask for recs but what normally happens is that then I just get sad about how many great authors there are who are doing better than me in various ways that my brain makes up just for the purpose, it’s a talent.

I wish I’d brought some embroidery today, I tell you what; that’d help, but I didn’t, so too bad.
