i’ve never seen whatever movie that is where the guy asks the girl what day it is and it’s october 3rd, and so when i saw the first photoset/gifset of it this morning I was like ugh, right, that shit, and postblocked it.
Turns out literally every post of that is an original that someone else screencapped and put together. i’ve PostBlocked like… seven different versions of that meme.
I just think that’s hilarious. People aren’t just reblogging someone else’s observation of it. Whatever that original medium was, a TV show or movie or whatever (and you don’t have to tell me; I’m incapable of caring), enough people saw it and were like I HAVE TO POST THAT ON TUMBLR WHEN IT IS THAT DAY—
I mean, it’s a punchline-less joke, and independently at least ten people made their own posts about it. Amazing.
