How well does the yurt hold heat? And is there a way to have a canopy bed arrangement so there’s less volume for your body to heat?
I have insulated panels in progress for the yurt as well as a 30-foot roll of Reflectix i can set up around the walls, and I have a kerosene heater that could go out in it, but instead of going out and setting up any of that, I played dumb games with Farm baby.
I’ll get the insulation up tomorrow, and the kero heater (I only have about half a gallon of kerosene, which wouldn’t last the night probably), and I’ll sleep out there tomorrow night. Farm baby will be off at church with her parents and I can escape then. I just feel like being a wimp tonight.
(And Monday, it’s supposed to go back up into the mid-40s at night, which is much more manageable.)
