Little chilly last night. (Photo taken in my bed.)
53 degrees here in Michigan and my windows are wide open. I love, love, love sleeping where it’s cold, under a bunch of blankets or a thick comforter/sleeping bag. Especially in the summer, when you get that nice contrast between warm sunny days and cold nights. *happy sigh*
If it’s below 65 degrees at night, I sleep well. If it’s above 65 degrees, not so much.
That was inside my yurt with all my blankets piled on me and a carpet dragged across the door and another carpet shoved into the hole at the top and all the roof flaps pulled down tight and a candle burning to try to keep the moisture at bay, and I woke up too cold a couple of times. If I had electricity in there I’d get a mattress pad heater, but.
I gotta finish up those insulated panels and then get the kerosene heater out if I’m going to make it through half of November in that thing.
