Ugh I posted a thing on ao3 but somehow figuring out how to get the link onto Tumblr using my phone is Too Difficult and I can’t manage it. But. At some point. I’ll get through this Too Many Steps block, or get home to my real computer.
Anyway. Kes avoids a bar fight and meets his future father-in-law, and Shara’s dad exchanges naked baby holopics with Norasol and forms his surprisingly insightful impressions of Kes.
I’ll. Figure out how to link to it. Can I take a nap at work? Why not?

I usually do these sorts of things as a link post on mobile.
Ha, yes, but I had AO3 open on my work computer, and I have a rule that Tumblr shall never touch my work computer, so I had to somehow find the link and open it on my phone and get the URL and then get my in-the-midst-of-a-software-update phone to cooperate while I made a link post and I’ve done it before, it was just– too many steps entirely, and I could not face it. I have only so much Ability To Make A Thing Do The Thing in a day, and that was past the limit of it.
Thank you. Maybe I should write a proper post linking to it, but it’s my birthday so I’m going to start drinking instead.
I should write up a nice concise here’s the series so far link that summarizes everything for both the larger Home Out In The Wind series and also the smaller series-within of the Lost Kings stuff, but again with the drinking. I’ll get around to it. In the meantime, thank you ever so for finding the link for me. :)
