well, fuck. i found this half-finished garment that’s kind of a blouse but with supportive cups like a bra, which would do great as the lining of a fitted dress, and I am looking and looking for the pattern, because what I have is the muslin, that I clearly put together years ago. And I can’t find the pattern, and I’m realizing now that I drafted it myself, and it’s not based on any one thing, it’s collected from half a dozen sources.
And I must have drafted it and cut it out of a paper bag sometime (best method of making homemade patterns; Sharpie on grocery sack) but I could not even begin to tell you where that would have wound up.
So now. Reverse-engineer a pattern from the muslin, I guess?
