ugh i said i’d have chapter three done today.
i just have a little more to go and i also think a section of it is an incoherent mess because i still haven’t hammered out a chunk of subplot. :( :(
I did just paste in the edits and it went from 4500 words to 9800, so clearly I’ve done a whole bunch of work. I just. Guh.
I gotta pack and load the car and drive 300 miles first thing tomorrow, so I’m determined to finish, I just need to read the whole thing. It turns out when your natural inclination is 10,000-word chapters, it takes for-fucking-ever to proofread.
I wish I could be a separate person and ask myself what I was thinking, sometimes.
