AO3 is down, which I guess they warned us it would be, for scheduled shit, for like an hour or whatever, but I wasn’t ready in my heart.
I’m actually writing. I got a bunch of Important Plot backstory written. OK like 1k of Karé Kun getting to be a brave little toaster, when mostly so far she’s been kind of Poe’s reluctant foil. I made myself try to think about hard things. I deserve a dang cookie.
I also procrastinated by looking at my old stories on AO3, really briefly. Did U Kno that I have a second chapter of Dumb Questions that’s been up as a draft for like months and months? I dimly recall, now, doing that, and putting it there, and just deciding that probably nobody wanted to read it because it wasn’t smut. So that’s just sitting there. And I never got around to tagging the trilogy-within-a-series that’s my set of Bucky and Peggy stories within the Choicebullet series– and the third one, where they finally get porny, as yet untitled and unpublished, is 12k long and I just have to finish the sex scene, but I never have.
And then I bitch and whine to myself that I’ll never be Popular or whatever, and like… no shit, dumbass, it’s because you never finish anything. Good Lord.
This is me Not Writing, so I should really go back and get to work on that, because uh. Wednesday is creeping up. But I am kind of. No. I can do this. I had told myself it would be all right to miss a deadline but I can do this.
Maybe I can do this.
Maybe instead I’m going to amuse myself by finding snippets of my random shit and posting them because I used to do that and I liked it. Maybe! We’ll see. Everything’s made up and the points don’t matter.
