Pfeh. I have officially Flaked on Today’s Self-Imposed Deadline. I want to post a placeholder but I feel like that would just piss people off? :/
Anyway. I only need like.a thousand words maybe. And then I can post a chapter that contains a scene I wrote FOREVER ago and am still SO EXCITED ABOUT. Y'all I promise it will be worth it.
In other news I just mosquito-proofed this yurt with lacd curtains and made myself a screen door out of a giant IKEA net panel. And the chupacabras like, immediately started making noises, and now there’s an enormous quadruped, certainly a deer, that crashed its way across the creek and up the bank and is currently noshing on something about a foot away from the doorless, windowless side of this yurt, and I know it’s gotta be a deer, but it’s clearly an enormous animal of some kind and it’s freaking me out. Dude is trying to sext me and I’m totally wrecking the moment. Sometimes , I just can’t get in the mood, ya know?
Ugh. Anyway. Broke my streak of on-time updates. I was doing so well. But it was less than a week at home, and zero weekend time, that did me in. I’m so close. I just couldn’t pull it out of the hat today.
