For the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme, flash mobs of exquisitely accurate and appropriately-aged re-enactors have assembled in British railway stations to hand out note cards with the names of the British soldiers who died on this day 100 years ago.
There are a lot: nearly 60,000 men were mowed down on that first day, most of them green volunteers.
Idk if this affects anyone else but i just cried in the bathroom at work.
