Mm 45 minutes later, my entire work period for the morning wherein I was going to sort out the remaining issues and get important things decided in peace, hah, Dude finally wakes up and comes out and looks at my computer and tries the only thing I hadn’t tried yet, and it finally restarts and is fine.
I tried everything I knew about, but it did not occur to me that you could call up a login screen and restart from *there*? It’s the same type of restart as doing it from the apple menu, but somehow, being in the login screen made it work?
I have a feeling that it just knew who was poking it now.
But that was wonderful. Yes. Thanks. I got up an hour early and spent 45 minutes staring in increasing panic and anxiety at my fucking computer. Thanks very much.
