omg i can log in

dragonlady7so like ages ago, well back last year sometime, i tried to log in to dreamwidth using the saved password in my password manager, and it said my password was wrong.
it's been literal months, maybe a year, and i've-- well i have a whole thing about how i can't get password managers to cooperate with me ever, and this is borne out by the sheer number of websites i'm locked out of. I was going to just transition to a physical fucking notebook with the passwords written in it, but I have for various reasons not succeeded at setting that up despite wanting to do it. who even knows, with this brain of mine.
anyway just now i was at my work computer on firefox which ostensibly knows all my passwords, and i wanted to reply to a comment so i forlornly clicked the login button ,the very same one where it uses my saved password and then says "no that's not it" even though i double-checked and it is, and
well it logged me in this time.
no, i don't know why, but it logged me in this time. so i'm currently logged in. the password is the same as it has always, ever been, ever since the last time i changed it and carefully updated it in all my password managers and it worked for months and then stopped working. so, while i'm logged in, i'm gonna try to catch up but be aware i'm way behind.
anyway hi. sorry the polls look so fucking bonkers. sorry i can't figure out how to make the crossposter tag coherently so it's obvious when it's a reblog and when it's me writing. sorry in general. it's all generally somewhat beyond me. alas.
