Depo-provera is a good option if you don’t want something implanted. It’s an injection that lasts for three months (but can stop your cycle for over a year).
See, i have a friend that the Depo shot actually literally drove screaming-insane, straight off the deep end, and there was no way to undo it so she was just stuck dealing with that. She’s had long-term repercussions, too, and no recourse.
So I’m also terrified of that!
