When I’m done trying all these on (I’ve been dragging it out by doing one per day so as to have something to look forward to in this wretched endless late-winter etc etc) I figure I’ll do a review post, but here’s some hilarity:

Ranger is one of the ones that smells most amazing in the vial and after two hours on me is 100% light sweet grandma-at-church with no subtleties at all. It is actually the only one I found irredeemable out of the entire lot; the others had some complexity if you really sniffed, and I figure they all deserve a second shot. However, they threw in Fighter for free, which smells fucking horrible in the vial, and I put some on over the faded-to-all-sweetness Ranger and the combo was actually really lovely. I haven’t tried Fighter on its own yet but the “leather” note stays leather on me, sort of, so that’s something worth exploring.

I have not considered other perfumeries yet, too many choices LOL.

They also threw in Djinn, which is supposedly very smoky– I figure I’ll try that one Wednesday. Listen I’ve got a schedule.

But I’ve made a list of possibles for my next order, now that I’ve got some idea of what my body actually does.

Nocturne kind of smells like soap but actually mostly still smells just like it did when it went on. It’s faint, by now, which I feel is good– I don’t want to be powerfully floral, y'know? (Your picture was not posted)
