Chronicles of Baby Niece:
Most things in the world are separated into two categories: To Eat, or To Pet. Some things can move from one category to the other; before slaughter, the chickens are To Pet, and after, To Eat.
There is a third category, To Look At, but these things are few and much less desirable on the whole. (Though certain tractors, and combine harvesters, fall in this category.)
