Am at DF and MM’s for the weekend. I’m covering for them while they’re out trick-or-treating, handing out candy.
I dressed for the occasion, of course.
a bit of a magpie dragon look. (I did add socks, since I’m sitting by an open door.) (There’s a lot of gold glitter on the face, which doesnt show up on camera but I am assured does in person.)
MM and her daughter were both bats, her son was the Grim Reaper with some very creepy red light-up eye glasses, and DF was dressed as a dad with a pageboy cap and handlebar moustache.
My dude went out with them, leaving me alone to mind the fort. I think that’s hilarious, three adults for two kids. But it’s their first time going After Dark, and they’re awfully excited about it, so why not.
Mostly I’m handing candy out to like, 14-year-old kids, which like why not. I did start off the evening well before dark with a very tiny child in pixie wings who was too shy to say Trick Or Treat to me.
We also had an Amazon driver come deliver to the door in the midst of it, and he refused a gift bag! (We’re handing out little organza bags with pencils and candy and other treats, because that’s how MM rolls.) (Your picture was not posted)
