I’ve researched publishing a lot of stuff, and nonfiction/memoir is the trickiest.
I have so many of these though! I gotta go back in my archives and find the Sea World ones. I forgot to mention that; K’s next career stop after the SEALs was that he worked for Sea World as a diver. It ended when he got mauled by an orca. For real! His story checks out! It’s amazing.
He’s one of those people whose resumes isn’t at all boring. And I never wrote down the one about how his girlfriend stuck up a liquor store using a cobra as a weapon. Dude is a Good Time ™.
I miss the hell out of him. He just got a new job, and it’s better than the old one, but he doesn’t have any vacation time, and he lives in (eugh) Ohio. Ohio! I ask you. Ohio. Ugh.
