i just saw a comic on my dash, kinda skimmed by it, but it portrayed two characters meeting for the first time, and they’re on opposing sides of some conflict, and it had each of them meeting the other’s eyes and thinking “oh no, he’s hot”, and

so a huge part, for me, of the demisexual experience is constantly wondering if i’m really just allosexual and just faking it and just imagining that there’s something different about me etc

but that’s, right there, that’s a wait is that even actually a thing moment, right there.

I do write the oh no he’s hot moment in my fics but it is never first sight, it is almost always the first time the object of dismayed affection is a specific kind of asshole. (Your picture was not posted)
